Welcome to Mycelia Therapy Collective (“we,” “our,” “us”). We are a nonprofit group therapy practice committed to increasing access to mental health care.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your participation in our email update list. By submitting your information via our website’s opt-in form, you agree to these Terms.

1. What We Collect

Through our website’s opt-in form, we collect:

First name (optional)
Email address (required)
If you are a potential client, your manner of payment (insurance or self-pay).

We do not request or store any other personal health information (PHI) through this form.

2. What We Use It For

If you choose to provide your name and email address, we will use that information to:

Send you occasional updates about our programs, services, events, or opportunities to support our mission.
Add you to our therapy waiting list.
Add you to our list of potential therapist collective members.
Contact you with relevant announcements about our collective.

We will never:

Sell, rent, or trade your information.
Use this information to deliver clinical services.
Share your data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

3. Privacy & security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100 % secure. By providing your information, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this risk.

If you are located outside the United States, please note that your information will be transferred to and stored in the U.S., where our servers are located.

4. Unsubscribing

You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any of our messages, or by contacting us directly at admin@myceliatherapycollective.org.

Once you unsubscribe, we will promptly remove your email from our active mailing list.

5. No therapeutic relationship

Submitting your name and email via our website does not:

Create a therapist–client relationship,
Register you for therapy, or
Guarantee services or appointments.

If you indicate that you are interested in seeking therapy with Mycelia via our website, we will contact you when an opening becomes available to begin our clinical intake process, which complies with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

6. Children’s privacy

Our website and email list are not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Email etiquette & compliance

All of our emails will:

Clearly identify us as the sender,
Provide our nonprofit’s contact information, and
Offer an easy way to opt out.

We strive to comply with all applicable email regulations, including the CAN-SPAM Act.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued use of our site and email list after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
